The napkin holder is nice but just not what I expected from Boden. I have bought your napkins, placemats and napkin rings for years and have always considered them beautiful and of highest quality. The napkin holders are so small and do not seem like a high quality item even though they are made with a coated woven wicker look. I will not be able to use them for any special occasion or in any special area in our home. Perhaps if the sides were wider they would have a more substantial and important feeling.
